Open 24 hours
Open at two in the morning.
Milk fever comes after calving, usually at night. Calves scour at night. The machine exists for exactly those hours.

Inside the machine
What is safe to buy without a veterinarian
Calcium, for after calving
Milk fever can kill within hours. This is the single most important thing in the machine, and the reason it exists.
Electrolytes and ORS
For scour and dehydration, in adult and calf doses.
Mineral mixture
The daily supplement that always runs out at the wrong time.
Wound care
Spray, dressing, gloves — for an injury that happens after the kendra has shut.
Thermometer and basics
The small things nobody stocks and everybody needs at night.
Paid by UPI. The receipt prints from the machine.
What the machine will not give you
No antibiotics from the machine.
That is deliberate. Antibiotics given without a diagnosis and without a full course do not cure the animal, and over time they stop working for everyone's animals.
Anything that needs a veterinarian comes from the kendra, or after a call. The number is on the front of the machine, and the line is answered at night.
